A text-normalization pipeline at `/opt/pipeline/normalize.sh` is supposed to process all `.txt` files in `/opt/pipeline/data/`, apply several transformations, and write results to `/opt/pipeline/output/`. Currently the pipeline fails or produces incorrect results.
