The task
Since last week our bookshop API (built on the in-house `hearth` framework in this repo) answers 404 for URLs with a trailing slash, e.g. `python -m bookapp GET /books/` or `GET /books/3/`. Several clients call it that way and the README promises that trailing slashes are ignored; with v0.3.0 it worked fine.
